Use the equation
Time in minutes = 2,337 ÷ your steps per minute.
| Cadence | Estimated time |
|---|---|
| 80 steps/minute | 29.2 minutes |
| 100 steps/minute | 23.4 minutes |
| 120 steps/minute | 19.5 minutes |
These are arithmetic examples, not pace recommendations. Count steps during a representative five-minute walk and divide by five to estimate your cadence.
Daily steps need not be one walk
WalkTeaming’s game doorway uses a daily total, not a required continuous session. Ordinary movement can accumulate toward it. Federal guidance also recognizes activity in bouts shorter than ten minutes, while still recommending sufficient weekly moderate-intensity activity for broader benefit.
Use official guidance for intensity and weekly activity; use your device for the personal time estimate.
Walk More! You can do it!
WalkTeaming is an Android walking league. Your best day that reaches 2,337 steps becomes your score for the week. Five walkers’ scores form the team total, and that team competes against another team near its level. The 2,337-step doorway is a game rule—not a medical target.
